Honorable Mention Voyeur Vienna (Carole Barley) Summer has settled herself in the centre of town, indolent pigeons huff themselves to flight before his feet treads their tails. Transference of weight, foot to foot, roll of shoulders, grey and black dogtooth lost in distance; smallish feet purposeful, hidden in darktan leather. He walks unaware, he is rearview and faceless to the watcher whose hand holds curtain aside, who smiles at the pull and roll of his gait. His shape becomes blurred, a woman with a pushchair obscures her view; a bus pulls in and passengers alight. And he was there, walking away, held in her gaze until a corner stole and no one could see him unless they were somewhere between the phone shop and Herbie’s Delicatessen.
